Personal Financial Planning
Should the unforeseen happen to our own life, life insurance is designed to make sure that we have made sufficient provision to provide ongoing financial support to those financially reliant upon us, as well as to maintain their lifestyle.
Life cover is offered in a variety of options namely:
Term Based Life Cover
This option provides life cover for a predetermined timeframe and is an affordable option of life insurance. Should you pass away during the insurance term, a lump sum is paid out to your family. Once the term of the life cover has expired, the life cover ceases to exist.
Whole Life Cover
This is a more expensive option than term based life cover, however it acts as an investment upon which you pay premiums until you pass away or surrender the policy. The longer you pay, the higher the cash value of the investment becomes. In the event of your death, your life insurance policy will pay out to your estate.
Universal Life Cover
Universal life cover is similar to whole life insurance in that it offers a return on the investment value of your premiums, however with this option, the policy will pay out specified sums over the term of the policy. This enables you to supplement your investment by paying in amounts over and above the premium. This enables an increased growth on your investment.
